Pot Noodle was originally developed by Momofuku Ando as Cup Noodle. In 1977, it was developed by Golden Wonder in Japan, before being launched in the UK in 1979.
There have been a host of bold new Pot Noodle flavours and variants launched onto shelves since the 70's including 'Asian style' Posh Noodle, the hot 'Bombay Bad Boy' and 'Sizzling Bacon'.
More recently, Pot Noodle have increased their product range, introducing the new variants Chicken Satay, Lamb Hotpot and Tikka Masala to the Pot Noodle family.
Advertising awards have included Cannes Gold award in Digital Media for 'Hysterical Girlfriend' in 2004, Gramia Award for the 'Seedy Sanchez' campaign in 2005 and most recently Silver at the British Television Advertising Awards in 2007.
